Yeah, could be that someone new was funneled the complaints and finally noticed BOTF. Instead of investigating with Geoff they said "make the complaints go away".

There is no doubt that the condition of the board is the main reason I am not here more often. It was not the reason a year ago or so, but it is now. I saw some snippets of goodness with the ghost a couple of months ago, but there is simply not enough good posting on a daily basis to keep me coming back regularly. The same batshit insane posters posting the same batshit inane [sic] dreck they did five years ago is not a pleasant experience. Really, I've had some posts sitting on the keyboard for some time that I simply don't write because I don't think there is a really audience for my bullshit here anymore. (I know I know, we're all better off...)

Someone posted (might have been you) that all that is needed to be done is to have the ROTR enforeced for a change, and this place may stand a chance of coming back.
