Messyone, do you even do your own laundry? It is SO not a big deal. My laundry is not a festering cesspool because two or three pads were in a load - detergent and water, man, it's a wonderful thing. IF my pads stank after being washed, I would bleach them, numbskull. But they don't.

I do not have to avoid life for a week. So, um, no, I'm not living in the 18th century, nor have I thrown away the gains of feminism. I can, and sometimes do, use disposable feminine products and I'm glad they exist. The poster said that her seasonal-period BC pill cut down on waste, I pointed out that periods don't have to entail much extra waste. That's it. It's a choice I made for many reasons, not prissy self-righteousness, just comfort and consciousness.

The rest of my "tedium" is just responding to your own ignorant diatribe on how women like me, who make the choice I make, are disgusting idiots.
