Bless you, Kuzibah, for sticking up for the band! I do confess that Blob Song is not easy to play OR sing! I truly winced at a few notes in the video. But, then, that's not the music we normally play. That was something we did for the moment.

Torie, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. But broadcast to the world in such a way? That stings. Especially when, judging from the audience response, it seemed like we did pretty well.

We're not recording artists and we don't have a CD to sell. The best recordings of America's very first rock'n'roll have already been made! We just love playing the music for people because it makes everybody light up and sing along, even kids. And, as far as The Blob goes, 1957 was a really fine year for music!

Still, we echo thanks to Slate and, Torie, we'd love to play a song just for you, any one you'd like to hear; just as long as it was recorded during those first, world-changing days of rock'n'roll. It's our mission!
