Pastors have a choice. Many crave recognition and respect and so they hide their weaknesses. But they can reveal them to other Godly men and women. The can seek counsel and accountability from other leaders in the church. If the pastor is the only leader in the church than you have a problem right there. I don't believe that God ever intended his church to be lead by superhuman pastors who had to struggle against sin by themselves. It is impossible because superhumans don't exist.
