This is a room not unlike KFS or BB. The freditors are leaving these place to the inmates...while we're in here fretting over sockpuppets and spammers...the writers worth reading are posting to Slate articles.

This might be a fine place to practice essays for posting elsewhere, and there are a few good writers doing that, too.

But mostly...anyone here worth reading is only here to screw around with the nuts...say hi to friends who might be here doing the same thing, and get back to what matters.

I've spent more time here in the last 4 days than I did for the entire month of december. I've got 4 browser windows open. Flickr; Odd Neighbor, Slate, and my Gmail inbox...all while I'm cleaning up a drawing in my Paintshop Pro...

I just can't help myself. I see that Slate tab minimized, and I wonder, What's on the top page, now. What anti-semitic mouth-breather is ranting this hour? Who is drunk spamming today? Did anyone sexy reply to my response to GhassanG? etc, etc.

It's really pathetic when I think about it. I think we need our own religion here...I wonder who our god would look like.
