enter the fray: our reader discussion forum
Re: the darkling connection
by Annie Finch

Now I wish I had read these posts about the "frayness" of the Fray before posting my own suggestion on another thread, to which MaryAnn responded with admirable patience, considering she had just posted a similar defense/explanation here.

So I suppose I get it now about having so many threads (when Molly Peacock talks about creaminess and crunchiness, how could I not be convinced!).

Still, logistically I'm wondering, is there a simple way that people who read multiple threads get from one thread to another (other than following a link someone has posted?)

The only way I know how to do it is to go up to the top of the page and click on "poems," and then I get a gargantuan list of topics (13 pages I think), which seem to include comments on other poems besides The Darkling Thrush (all the poems lumped together--is that right?)

Maybe there could at least be one big mega-thread for each poem (a Darkling Thrush subcategory under Poems), which could include all these threads? Or is there already such a mega-thread and I just don't see it? Seems like one more layer of nesting would help, especially as more poems are posted in future and associated myriads of threads added.
