Mississippians Love Irony

Mississippi is well known for its love of irony as a literary technique, and that's why we can appreciate Plotz's article. The first paragraph says nothing good comes from Mississippi; the second paragraph mourns the loss of Elvis, a famous Mississippian. Anyone shallow enough to actually believe that Mississippi is as miserable and dead as Plotz's August should probably stay away. On the other hand, our doors are always open to those who appreciate good music, good literature, good food, good times, good folks and sweettea. And, frankly my dear, that's Mississippi in every month!
