An Obama Critic who Can Wait

I didn't vote for Obama. I don't agree with his policies or the fact that his association with racist lunatics and domestic terrorists. But I don't need the media to hyperventilate over this.
Would they be roasting a Republican President-elect over this? Of course. Were they professionally negligent in doing looking into Obama’s Chicago background before he was elected? Obviously. But, like the author of the article said, we’ll find out soon enough what’s up.
As for my fellow Republicans, who have always had to do the vetting of Obama that a fawning media would not, they need to think about appearance. Americans are tired. A long war, a long campaign, scandals. They expect a break from the usual shrieking and posturing. For once, we don’t have to be the heavies. Not just now. The US Attorney is doing the hard work.
The GOP needs to stay on top of this, but let’s not look for scandal to take Democrats down. Let’s get back to our roots and establish a coherent case for governing. Obama has few new ideas. Let’s fight him there.
