There was an interesting exchange between Powell and Russert. Russert was asking him about his meetings with Barack Obama about policy - Powell admitted to meeting with Obama twice. Then later he was asked about who he would endorse/support for President from among the Republicans. Powell demurred and said that he would support the best person he could find to lead the country. Russert asked "of any party" and Powell said "the best person."

I wonder having been used by the Bush Administration is Powell now looking around for a new home. Could he end up in the Democratic Party?
