Jeff Jarvis has a response on his blog.

Personally I haven't read much of his tech stuff, but his pro-Clinton articles at the Guardian during the election were often intellectually dishonest, e.g. misrepresenting data from Google Trends.

Also it irritates me that he always talks about "his column" at the Guardian. Although he writes for them, it's not like he has a regular column on the website or in the paper, as far as I know.
