Sorry, but I don't think I made any reference to "inbreeding" between Homo Sapien, Homo Erectus and Neanderthal. Most DNA studies that I have read indicate that there was little to no "gene flow" between the two and that they are likely different species, as you mentioned.

In terms of the evolution of Neanderthal, One theory is that they evolved from Homo Erectus somewhere in Western Europe, while Homo Sapiens evolved from Homo Erectus in Sub-Saharan Africa. But again, there is still debate over whether Homo Sapiens ALSO evolved from Homo Erectus in Asia as well. But even IF that were true, and the population of Europe is a MIXTURE of Homo Sapiens from both Asia and Africa, we still contain within us the genetic materials from that African origin.
