Sarah Palin as VP would be an ordinary working-class citizen who finally had nothing to do but to learn, and to pay for that privilege by attending the occasional state funeral.

It does not cease to amaze me, the way so many powerful and authoritative journalists--when they wish to secure places for themselves on what they believe will be the winning team--are willing to say of their profession that it is essentially useless, and that what it produces is ultimately worthless.
