The Republican "brand" just doesn't stand for anything positive anymore. At one time, the "brand" stood for a conservative approach to Government. At one time the "brand" stood for a "high morals and a religious component". At one time, it stood for "strong defense". etc... etc..
Today, the "brand" has been damaged beyond recognition by all the Republican's negative campaigning. We have members of their Campaign Ticket making outrageous claims about other candidates being a "terrorist" because they served on the same non-profit board or lived in the same neighborhood, or went to the same Church, or somehow were in the same vicinity as someone or were alive when something happened, etc. .
We have seen their "brand" get drug down by the Republican's low morals including widespread corruption and greed. We have seen ill-advised Wars for questionable reasons. But I think that most damaging of all has been all the false accusations of our fellow Americans for the Republicans own attempted Political gain.
The Republican's "brand" just don't stand for anything positive anymore breeding a crisis of confidence among Republicans..
