The article rightfully explains the plight of a whole minority group, not just the men in questions (who are known refugees). These people were not "caught" trying to join their friends in Pakistan, they were turned in by tribesmen for money. The fact that they were jailed for years without any proper trial, or even the beginning of a suspicion, tells a lot about the ethics of this administration.
