Re: Ayers' views are not the issue - but Obama's are

freepeople, well done sir, I commend your accomplishments. You have made it clear that you have a monopoly on sorrow, that all others have no claim to speak against your ideals, under the light of your struggle. I'm sure then, that you have no problem with Germans who want to stop teaching the Holocaust as a major historical topic because in their schools: as they argue, Germans have been tormented enough and it's time to move forward.

All you and texaslawyer have done is find some honest prejudices that Obama had a young man, and turned that into racism. He didn't act on any of these, didn't obstruct anyone from their rights, did not treat anyone unfairly, didn't even comment on the inferiority of his targets...he had some pre-judgments. I'm sure you two do not suffer from this universal trait of pre-judging people, groups, places (sometimes being right, sometimes wrong), but I do so I guess I'm racist as well.

So I guess you both should keep on with this for the next 4-8 years as Obama runs the country, because it will give your anger a cloak of moral superiority. It's a catchword you can cling to to salve your frustrations. Just don't think it's not a little "pussy." Because it is.
