I suspect that it is no accident that this was a Saturday night hockey game. Countdown won't air until Monday and SNL wouldn't have enough time. Hey, if the Phillies knock off the Dodgers, maybe Sarah wants to throw out the ceremonial first pitch. She might try it at Fenway too.
