Why didn't McCain reach across the aisle and support similar proposals by Dems?, Further, why didn't he bring this up when EESA was being negotiated, so the language in the act could have been improved? Could it be that he is more concerned about making political points than in solving the problems we face? Could it be that he really isn't a maverick?
