You don't even have to be "successful" to be called an elitist anymore; you just have to prefer bands no one in Peoria has heard of to the Eagles, and you're fully and officially a wine-sipping dandy. Prefer Fourier to Sowell, and you may as well have said "let them eat cake," however many holes are in your trousers.

Seems that when we support progressive taxation, that's class warfare. But harping on the attitudes of the "elite" and bashing the coastal urban dweller . . . well, that's just supporting the "average American" (whoever the fuck that is).
