I'm glad you escaped, but a number of people were not so lucky. And many of them were not wealthy individuals making large bets in hopes of substantial winnings.

The consistent losers in government plans seem to be shareholders. In a 401(k) country, they deserve at least to be noticed and to receive sympathy.

I didn't lose anything on WaMu, to my knowledge. But I do recognize the existence of other people, including strangers to me. My criticism was not of you, but of the Comment's author.
