You have to be kidding McCain was not even close to a tie. Did you watch the debate? This is ridiculous. Obama BY FAR showed he is ready to be the President of the United States. McCain deferred questions and did not represent his plans with any details at all. Just spouted of some nonsense he has repeated over and over again. It was just sad. Obama, on the other hand, was very articulate and answered all the questions in a very informative and well thought out manner. Obama showed he could be presidential and stay calm and collected while McCain was clearly testy, condescending, and obnoxious. The worst was McCain saying cutting pork barrels is going to fix the country's entire financial problems. Oh yeah, while he cuts taxes to all the Wall Street nuts who got us into this mess. What the ...? I think we need more than that to get out of this mess. I only heard a plans from Obama...(health care, education, no tax hikes for the middle class, economic stimulus package) and NOW he's the only one I trust to help us with anything. After tonight I am very afraid to have McCain in charge of anything... no less, the entire USA. Being one of those "Independent" voters...OBAMA, YOU HAVE MY VOTE NOW!
