Right, especially when the "rumor" is actually true, as in, they really are charging victim's insurance companies, the policy really was enacted while Sarah Palin was mayor, and Sarah Palin really did sign off on the budget documents embodying the policy.

So maybe Wasilla was never mentioned when the state passed corrective legislation, and maybe a few other states have the same horrible policy, doesn't make those facts not true or less salient.
