This is really a no-brainer. Do I follow the findings of a group of scientists or the teachings of the Bible? Personally, I have a great deal more respect for the latter. Moreover, the use of discipline in the form of corporal punishment - NOT ABUSE - has given the world generations of people who, for the most part, were moral and respected others. I will make a deal with these scientists: either keep yourselves out of my life or take custody of these kids with their smart mouths and disrespectful attitudes and see how long YOU can tolerate them while trying to teach them to be decent citizens.
