No sooner had McCain announced he was coming down to DC to take names and kick asses, not necessarily in that order or verb-object grouping, did Congress start jumping through ring of fires to get the deal done for McCain's muched ballyhooed homecoming.

Ordering Thai food for the Senate (damn elitists, good old homed cooked Chinese takeout not good enough for you, fat cats) and pizza for the house (probably that expensive flatbread type with no tomato sauce from a restaurant that wouldn't be caught dead sponsoring a little league team), the old boy network got done to business as not usual, to appease the Great McCain, the man who put the POW in power. And if they were still lollygagging about, well Palin was waiting for the tap in and rearing to bust some heads (photo op only).

So, without having to step one foot in Washington, let alone the Capitol Building, McCain has saved the economy by his mere threat of a presence. Give that man a White House. Well, another white house.
