You can't seriously be comparing a contest between two seasoned candidates who were highly experienced to Obama. Who not only has no experience and no tangible record, there are few, if any who have worked with him who have come out to say what a great thing it was to work with him.

And were Obama to win, which he won't, congress will spend four years treating someone so incapable of being a team player - so petulant, so remote, so imperiously isolated from the American experience- just the way they'd treat a marshmallow at a campfire.

The voters have had eight years of this sort of personality. Do you really believe they aren't fed up with remote and aren't going to go for McCain's more engagingly inclusive demeanor.

Like I said, all posting on Slate has become is about affirmation rather than information. You really do habitually need to believe in delusion. Where are you all going to go after the election when there is no more Obama to pin your misplaced faith to get your fantasy fix.

But i note that none of the Obamabots have answered in any way other than wishful thinking where Obama is going to get a majority vote.

And whoever it was that said they are seeing a countryside of Obama signs, either you are outright lying and we both know that very well or you live in the kind of American rural area that includes a sizable African-American population.
