but I made no statement about Dems being underhanded or duplicitous.
But they clearly share as much blame, if not more, for the current situation.
And I also don't care what you think. I've been registed Indie for over 45 years and have voted both parties plus independents. When the Dems, and many have misgivings about O, present the country with an inexperienced young man, for many of us, we are left with no choice.
Even temperment? Lots of presidents had "even temperments" including Jimmy Carter. That's a factor in deciding a president? LBJ had a vicious temper, far worse than anything Mac has been accused of, but no one will tell you he didn't get things done, whether you liked what was "done" or not.
A better grounded philosophy on how to manage the economy? A philosophy? How nice! All that translates into is that you agree with "how" he would handle the economy.
Pubs would say the same about Mac, don't you think?
In the end, it doesn't matter who is to blame for the mess that we are in. I do think that there is plenty of blame to pass around.
Well, thank you very much! That is exactly what my point was in posting that article. I told you just recently that I'm sick to death of this stupid blame game that both sides play.
It would be nice if people actually tried to inform themselves in something remotely resembling objectivity.
And my suspicion right now is that the current Congress will continue to play games with this. How many days do they want to see the stock market drop before the average joe starts a real panic?
