There was a great parody of the Vote or Die ad campaign on South Park, where the slogan was Vote or Die Mother----er. It involved P Diddy literally showing up at people's houses armed and threatening them with violence if they did not vote. Very funny.

The problem with "edgy" get out the vote ads is that, no matter how cool they try to be, they are ultimately talking about voting, which is inherently not cool. Foundation of our democracy? Yes. Incredibly important? Yes. Cool to somebody 18-22? Um, no.

It's like "edgy" Christian rock. It just doesn't work!
