Pure wishful thinking. If you think these people will pay your debt, you are living in fantasy land. They might buy some of it, to avoid a complete crash, but it is unlikely to be massive. The first reason being that they have their own financial problems right now (especially China). If you want to finance your expenses, why don't you look at your gargantuan military budget first. I don't think the US Army would really seriously notice a 25% reduction of its expenses. Which should be enough to pay the whole bail-out plan in one day. Cash.
