I would think that if the label "liberal" had any meaning at all that those who claim it would direct their fury against those who abuse human rights and freedoms and be steadfast in their loyalty to those who wished to defend those rights and freedoms. The evidence for such a mind-set is sadly lacking among those who hijack the title, from what I've seen and heard and read.
