Down from an 8 point lead to only a 4 point lead. So, I guess it is all in how you view it. Is the glass half full or half empty? Looks like Obama's glass is half empty and has a slow but steady leak.
In addition I view Obama's lack of response to McCains smear adds as just a peak of how he'll act as POTUS when this country is attacked. I'd rather take my chances with a possibly demented old politician with a backbone than a wimpy politician who can only talk about change, but is unwilling to define it.
Yes McCain has a voting record that leaves something to be desired, but at least he has a voting record. It is easy to be thought of as perfect if you do nothing and easy to find flaws with a person who is making decisions, be they right or wrong.
Last but not least to those who chose to take the easy way out and place all the blame for the current problems on the Bush Administration, here is some information for you all:
Congress not the President makes the laws, Congress not the President sets the budget and decides how much of our money gets spend on what and when. It was congress, not the President that decided to give AIG the 80 billion loan of our money. So if you want to blame someone for the problems this country has look no further than your congressperson. If they had done the job that we, the people elected them to do and actually represented us instead of their own best interests, we would no be having near as much trouble as we have now.
