The M's are hardly disappointed to have re-signed Ichiro because he allegedly went Berkowitz on the status of his contract. The guy comes to play every day, hits, throws, and runs as well as anyone in the game, and is a perfect delight as a teammate. Gee, he asked for a car and plane tickets and a pesonal assistant? Just shocking.

As an Oakland A's fan -and as someone who attended the recent All Star Game in which Ichiro happily ran circles around everyone on the field (save Jose Reyes) I only wish the M's were disappointed with Ichiro, because maybe he'd get traded and stop spanking my favorite club 15 times a year.
