Last time I checked only McCain is running for President. Some guys would give their left nut to get into the Naval Academy. Big Days of McCains Military life: 1) acceptance into the Academy 2) graduation 3) soloing at flight school 4) escaping from the bottom of a bay after engine failure on a plane 5) earning his wngs 6) getting carrier qualified. 7) assigned to 'Nam 8) escaping a burning jet on the USS Forestal 9) surviving a bailout 10) surviving for 5 1/2 years in prison 11) promoted from Ensign, to Leutenat and to Lt Commander 120 Living, working, partying, fighting and dying with his fellow pilots.

1.) His daddy and grand-daddy got him into the academy.

2.) He graduated 4th from the bottom of his class, and daddy helped there too, else he would have been bounced his plebe year.

3.) Five, count 'em five planes he destroyed.

4.) Gave military information to NVA in exchange for medical treatment 4 days into his captivity.

5.) Collaborated with enemy many times in 5 and a half years, making survival moot.

6.) What's this bullshit about him "...dying with his fellow pilots?"
