So it appears that there is something greater than matter, and because we abhor a vacuum we must fill it in with something. I think you are right not to go from that assumption to the conclusion that an Almighty created matter.

Take a clue from that song that says that God is riding the bus just like the rest of us. (Tory Amos?)
