Thank you. I think it preserves the role of Congress while at the same time refining the president's veto power. And it does so in a way that counters a chief weakness of Congress. I really don't understand why this hasn't been bandied about. It may not even require an ammendment (I don't remember the specifics of why the SCOTUS struck down the original line-item veto).

I welcome any thoughts or--especially--criticisms.
