Notice Jesus didn't say: Sell a man some fishing lessons and you'll feed him for the rest of his life. He said "teach." I take that as teach him but don't ask for anything, such as money, in return. Do it because you love your neighbor as yourself. So, applying this theme to modern times, who does the teaching?: I'd say public schools do the teaching. They teach us how to read, write and to some extent how to get along with others. Pan the public schools system all you want, but I'm sure you can name several people who have benefited enormously from public education. I know I have. I have a skill, taught to me, that I can feed myself with for the rest of my life. Get it?
