Christianity as a Lifestyle Choice
by Richmond

It's practically impossible to tell an evangelical from a non-evangelical any more.

Evangelicals are that accommodated to the "wider" culture. To them, being Christian is a "lifestyle" choice. So many bumperstickers and themed Bibles and WWJD bracelets.

If evangelicals didn't yammer on, as is their wont, about their faith (an invisible thing), how could you tell they were Christians?

Certainly not from the way they behave.

Evangelicals who are not accommodated to the wider culture: the Amish.

Evangelicals who are practically drowning themselves in the wider culture: everyone else who calls herself an evangelical.

Exhibit A, the showgirl from Wasilla.
