Hillary was brilliant. She stuck to the theme of economy that was set by the Obama campaign. It is not her job to praise Obama's Commander-in-Chief potential. Having critiicized him before, she cannot all of a sudden say that he is ready. Obama has to convince the voters himself. She cannot do that for him. She cannot say that Obama has foreign policy experience, because she has more experience than him. Probably Biden will address that issue. What she could do is reiterate that she and Obama see eye to eye on all policy matters. Which she did superbly. She gave that as a great reason for her supporters to vote for Obama. She could have said that Obama is a member of Foreign Relations Committe. But that would have been meaningless.
I was a Hillary supporter and I have doubts and concerns about Obama. To me he looks too cerebral. Saying "This is the Moment," hundred times does not excite me. I may not vote at all, even though Biden gives me some confidence.
Dickerson is wrong in criticizing Hillary. Hillary has no basis to declare that Obama is ready to be Commander-in-Chief.
