Taken ( second sentence ) from the Pharama oath ( www.uspharmd.com/ pharmacist_Oath_and_Code_of_Ethics.html ). So if a pharmacist believes they are killng another, they are not required by this oath to honor the Cultural Beliefs or the needs of a patient that wishes to kill her child. BTW so what country did your parents come from that based it's Cultural beliefs around killing children? No where in this oath does it say that you must put Cultural beliefs ahead of your judment.
In fact no where in the code of ethics does it say it. It just says that a pharmacist respects personal and cultural differences among patients. Not that you have to fallow their request if they differ from your beliefs.
One of my best friends is a pharmacist and said you are a nut for implying this. All people who ask for medicine, wether it is over the counter or prescibed are considered as patients and if you follow their beliefs you would probably get sued.
