I think it might hurt . . .

I'm worried about Biden as VP choice.
1) He's a gaffe-magnet, which is all our jeuvinile MSM seems to focus on these days.
2) Biden comes across as a verbose doofus, and may eventually rival Jack Kemp for all-time worst choice of VP. I mean, there's a reason Biden had to leave the primaries so early . . .
3) It's looks really silly to talk about 'change' and then have a guy on the ticket who's been in the senate for 30 years. I mean, old politics was the primary reason people discounted Hillary Clinton, they said it would derail his message. Well . . . look at Biden, another ancient, white haired, fist waiving McCain if you ask me.
4) I think the Obama campaign spent too much time second-guessing itself on this one, and is grossly naive about their ability to define their own campaign message. $5 dollars says by the end of the campaign people will still be unclear how Obama can justify his message of change with Biden on the ticket. It will all be about the 'Republican swiftboating', which Biden will make easy because of his gaffiness, and his subsequent lack of stones for always apologizing. This isn't Obama's fault, its just the nature of our sound-byte media game, which the Republicans are way better at playing.
-In my humble opinion the Obama campaign should have listened to the advice of David Gergen and James Carville this week. I think not doing so will be viewed by history as the beginning of his end.
-I will still be voting for the democrats, because nothing they've done even comes close to how George Bush and the Republicans have raped this country for the last 7.5 years. NOTHING. I'd rather be a loser than a Republican (Obama is obviously going ot help me with that). Sadly, I predict another four years of misdirection under Republican policies.
