Hillary would probably be an asset in the campaign. But don't fool yourself, she is as narcisistic as Bill and deserves nothing on her own merits.

Hillary and her republican handlers took voters for granted and eventually ran the most cynically negative primary campaign even after all nose counters knew should had lost.

If Obama were to pick her, it would mean that the campaign was worried. So I'd support the decision for that reason.

But don't look down your nose at Biden. He is a Roman Catholic fighter with one of the best brains in America. He could have more impact on a presidential ticket than anyone in recent history.

I had picked Bayh for the simple reason that he delivers Indiana. But I have been dissuaded by my reevaluation of Biden's gifts and by the fact that a republican Indiana governor would appoint a republican U.S. Senator upon Bayh's election to VP.

It's probably Biden -- and Obama's judgment will once again be demonstrated.
