All the hoopla about saving Georgia from the terrible Russian juggernaut, like Georgia is Tolkien's "Shire" and its folksy way of life is in jeopardy- where is it coming from?

Here on Slate and at the Washington Post, the commentary called for American action to protect Georgia from Russia. Anne Applebaum, Neo Con, American Enterprise Institute fellow, WaPo and Slate contributor, pro Zionist, put the blame squarely on Russia and called for American military action to defend her.

But who supported Georgia's split from Russia and movement towards NATO Europe?

Who has pushed against Russia' interests in Eastern Europe and Central Asia for the past 17 years, and even called up "revolutions" in the past 7 years through American political organizations working clandestinely in the Baltic states and Eastern Europe?

Who has called for NATO to advance right to the Russian borders?

Who has installed major missile systems in Eastern Europe closer to Russia than ever before?

Ha`artez and other Israeli new reports have indicated 100s of Israeli military "advisors" were working with the Georgian military just prior to and apparently during this most recent incident. As well, Israel has 100s of millions ( if not $1 billion) invested in the Georgian military over the past years since Georgia joined the Neo Conservative World Team in Iraq.

Instead looking like a fool and following Bush and Mc Cain, Obama would be wise to make the connection between the Bush foreign policies and Neo Conservative world view and philosophies and how they led to heightened tensions and finally military conflict in Georgia.
