Alaskajoe, that's exactly why he's been able to be elected and reelected in one of the most conservative states in the U.S. Democrats know about his private life, but haven't publicized it, because it would be wrong - although it's a running topic of conversation. The people who vote for him have no idea. Anyway he has been relatively gay-friendly for a Republican.

So don't call us liberal facists. If he had been a liberal, the right would have outed him in a second.
