everyone keeps calling the LW selfish, but i personally find it selfish of the mother and father involved to pursue this relationship without thinking of the consequences. considering the person they were dating, they should have respected their children enough to discuss the potential relationship before it became too late to break it off, or before they fell in love or whatever. in my mind, the daughter objecting is no more selfish than they have been, especially considering that they say they are open to discussion, but really aren't. i find it somewhat disturbing that these two people could not manage to find a mate other than the parent of their child's spouse. i'm not even coming from a moral standpoint here...as an atheist, i find this to be disgusting, and yes, pseudo-incestuous as well. it's no different than two step-siblings getting married.
