America's Triple Threat- George, John and Joe
by Livy

George Bush tells Russia we will not put up with the bullying of Georgia and the other neighbors of Russia. At the same time, the US. wants to install defensive(word used advisedly) missiles in Poland , the traditional enemy of Russia. Nikita removed "defensive missiles" from Cuba and JFK removed obsolete missiles from Turkey, but Bush thinks he can install them on the borders of Russia. Bush thinks NATO can be expanded to the very border of Russia. Bush is not going to intimidate Putin with his talk about invading sovereign nations.Putin has Bush by the short hair and his hold is getting stronger everyday. What exactly is the U.S. going to do if Putin simply says , bug off and get the hell out of Iraq and don't tell me what I can and can't do..

The Presumptive President John has already laid out a program to deter Russia. President John has his buddy Joe ( Sec. of State)as a cheerleader and corrector of his comments, such as, sovereign naitons do not invade othe soveerign nations in the 21st century John wants the Ukraine and other neighboring states to stand up to Russia and join NATO. What could be more provocative to Russia? What exactly are George, John and Joe going to do if Russia invades another sovereign nation? What action would be taken by France, Gerrmany and the Brits? Are they going to try a Napoleanic march on Russia? The US. has an exhausted military tied down in Iraq and Afghanistan, not to mention an economy in deep trouble.

The geopolitical cards were in the hands of JFK during the Cuban missile crisis; Putin has the geopolitical cards in his hands iin his backyard. All the posturing and strong words by George, John and Joe are nothing but bluster

This reminds me of the fable about the mice wanting to bell the cat. Good idea, but which mouse was going to approach the cat and put the bell around his neck.
