I'm not a Scientologist, to the best of my knowledge I've never know one either.

Their belief of what happens to us in the afterlife in no more or less absurd than that of any other religion.

Personally, I believe that we are continually reincarnated to a lower and lower life form (to purge us of our vanity). Finally, when we can go no lower, we are reincarnated for a final time as a toll-collector on the New Jersey Turnpike and get to spend the rest of eternity changing twenties for Russian mobsters and their girlfriends on the way to Atlantic City.

The good news, though, is we get to keep our dog in the toll booth with us.
