The ARC uses the word RETARDED in its acronym...although it took some searching to verify it. The ARC website wouldn't cop to it. I finally found it on Wikipedia. It seems like the ASSOCIATION for RETARDED CHILDREN is embarrassed by its own name because it has the word RETARDED in it. Let's protest the ARC for their use of the word RETARDED in their name. And do you really think the ASSOCIATION for RETARDED CHILDREN isn't capitalizing on RETARDED CHILDREN? I'm offended.
