Dear Prudie, I'm constantly wondering if all these people who are buying scooters or motorcycles are factoring the price of the bike into their savings. We have friends who each bought a small motorcycle to "save on gas" and we figured out that it was going to take them each 17,000 miles to break even! That's a lot of miles on a motorcycle. Just a thought from a curious reader.
