I, too, wondered when (or if) one of our brave reporters would ask McCain about Corsi's book and, if so, how McCain would respond.

I few months ago, I think he would have denouced the book, not because I think McCain is especially a "straight talker" but because back then he thought that appearing to be one was good politics. (He may have been right.)

Now, I think he will waffle, not because he has become less of a straight talker, but because, under the tutelage of Rove's proteges, he now thinks that attack is good politics. (He may be right--it worked for Rove.)
