Bela is no longer coaching. His wife Marta is the National Team Co-ordinator, meaning she has no gymnasts of her own, but oversees the centralized training system for all the girls. The only reason she was on the floor is because of an FIG rule that mandates one female coach must be on the floor at all times. Since none of the competing athletes have female coaches, Marta ended up filling the role of assistant coach. Normally she would be in the stands. Only the head coach and assistant coach are allowed beyond the barriers.
