You raise a good point. After being caught up in the hype, glitz, and glamour of the Olympics, it is sobering to think that for every smiling gymnast strutting their stuff that we see, there are several (if not dozens) of broken, bruised, and spent children who did not make it and never will. I'd like to see more exposure of the dark side of gymnastics. But that doesn't sell commercials.
