What I said was that this intense competition amongst countries I think is wrong. The athletes themselves competing should suffice.

As far as me bashing my own country, at least I am not trying to denegrate China for trying to put on a good show for the thousands of people watching. I understand it was a huge success. The opening ceremonies was glitz and we have done similar and I suppose all countries try to make their opening show as spectacular as possible.

My comment goes along these lines, didn't a man say something to the effect that one shouldn't complain about something in anothers eye and forget he himself had a huge object in his own eye?

Isn't ones worship of everything of his own country, and contempt of others country a form of bigotry?

And then there is your comment about Israel. You disgust me Boss, you are a ass.
